The Mill was built at the side of the Leeds Liverpool canal as the waterways were the motorways of today for transporting goods, with the River Aire running along side the canal too, this gives the area a natural wonder here with the ever popular with locals and no so locals wonderful Roberts Park set on the other side of these 2 waterways across from Salts Mill it all adds to the beauty of the area.
