About Temple Newsam Park Leeds
Temple Newsam Park in Leeds is one of the large parks in Leeds and is very popular with visitors whether its family groups, couples, friends and dog walkers all year round but more so in the summer for obvious reasons.

Temple Newsam Park is a beautiful area to walk in and exercise in with lots of green space spread over a wide area. In the spring and summer months the park is full of blossoming flowers with beautiful vibrant colours that look great in any landscape photographers portfolio.

At the bottom of the park you'll find 3 lakes grouped together with a wooded area at the other side to explore as well as the the slightly hidden Georgian Walled Garden with its outdoor and greenhouse plants.
If you feel up to a longer wander, there are footpaths leading out to the wider countryside areas around thee area that you can also explore. All great areas to get your camera out and take a few snaps.
Whilst you're here why not take in some history visiting the Temple Newsam House Museum with over 40 rooms full of history, with paintings, ceramics, furnishings and the stories about the people. (fees apply)
At the side of the House is another nice interesting area to walk around and explore in the summer sun.

There's also Home Farm to take a stroll around the cobbled courtyards and outbuilding and get up to close to a variety of farm animals and rare breeds from Cows, Sheep, Lambs, Piglets right down to guinea pigs, along with some historical farming equipment to see and sometimes demonstration on how these were used in time gone by. (fees apply)
The Stable Courtyard near Temple Newsam House also gives you the opportunity to sit and relax with a bite to eat and a nice cuppa as well as s small gift shop and toilets are here.
At the edge of the main Park you'll also find a Golf Course and a running track to explore.
Throughout the year there are often additional events held here including things like Leeds music concerts and special Christmas Events in Leeds
